An Advent Jar

Celebrate His Light: Advent Jar.  In the Spirit of Christmas, you may enjoy making an Advent jar/s.  Decorate a jar with festive ribbon.  Ideas for what one may do each day during Advent, to fill the jar:

1.    Extra kind effort for another, or yourself; (call, card, text, coffee out); notate it on a little sheet of paper, fold each paper to fill the jar: a jar of blessings on Christmas Eve, left under your tree is kindness and love.  His Way is a beautiful gift to Him.

2.    Buy a bunch of fun little gifts.  Write a note with directions for where to find each treat.  Fill the jar with folded direction-notes.  On Christmas Eve, divide the notes equally among all whom are at your house.  You must hide each gift per your directions.  (Look under the couch to find your sweet!). A kind of Easter egg hunt for Christmas.

3.    Pen a favorite Christmas scripture, saying, or quote; one per day. Fill your jar, then divide the season’s sayings equally amongst all present on Christmas Eve.  Precious thoughts are a beautiful gift.
